GasCast - Bristol Rovers Podcast

Bristol Rovers' hometown hero Chris Lines joins Max to discuss his three (yes, three) promotions at the club. Linesy talks about breaking into the first team under Paul Trollope, and how he went from a released youth-team prospect to a regular starter in League One in a matter of years. Chris also talks about the relegation from League One, where it all went wrong under Dave Penney's reign, and how he eventually came to leave the club for Sheffield Wednesday in 2011.

Linesy also talks about his return to the club under Darrell Clarke, and how dropping down to non-league to help his boyhood club was a no-brainer. He discusses Play-Offs, Wembley drama, and THAT Lee Brown Goal, as well as playing at Chelsea in the League Cup, adapting his game as time has gone on, and an infamous bust-up with Graham Coughlan.

It was great to chat with Chris for an extended hour and a half, covering a monumental 11 seasons at the club - Enjoy!
